My goal for this blog is to write, and to encourage others. I hope some of the things that I learn will encourage you also.
I love to read and write, and someday I hope to be a published author. I'm a board member of my local theatre group, and I enjoy acting and dabbling in special-effects/stage makeup. I enjoy collaborative work with Los Metates Studios, sometimes as a script-writer, sometimes an actress. I am the eldest of six kids (that's five siblings--two brothers and three sisters.)
As you probably guessed from the title of the blog, I am a big Sherlock Holmes fan--of the books, firstly, and then also the BBC adaption. My other obsessions include tea, Doctor Who, and general craftiness.
Right now, God is teaching me to be thankful for the little things; to let go of my dreams. To trust Him with all the craziness of my life, and to laugh more along the way. Care to come along for the adventure?
